This Privacy Policy explains how The Gonzalez Group at Compass (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through gonzalezgroupapp.com, the related site gonzalezgroupre.com, and the forms and tools on both. The Gonzalez Group is a real estate team at Compass, a licensed California real estate broker (CA DRE 01991628). Team CA DRE 01429838. This policy is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (together, “CCPA”), where they apply.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us in our forms, plus basic technical data.

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you request a home value, a consultation, a showing, a guide or a call back.
• Property details: the property address you enter for a home value report, and details you share about it (for example condition, timeline or price range).
• Request details: the agent you chose, preferred dates and times, the areas you are interested in and any message you write.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page, which our hosting provider and the services below may log automatically. Our sites also store a small first-party identifier in your browser (a cookie or local storage) so a returning visitor’s request can be matched to the right agent.

How we use it

• To answer your request and contact you by phone, text or email about it.
• To prepare a home value analysis or other information you asked for.
• To send follow-up messages you agreed to, such as market updates. You can opt out at any time.
• To run, secure and improve our sites, and to measure which pages and ads are useful.
• To meet legal, licensing and recordkeeping duties as a real estate team.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it for us, with your Gonzalez Group agent and Compass as our brokerage, and when the law requires it. Our service providers include:

• Netlify, which hosts our sites and processes form submissions and server functions.
• EmailJS, which delivers form emails and confirmation emails.
• Google (Google Workspace and Sheets for lead records, Google Fonts, and YouTube embeds on the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain).
• Zapier, which passes form details to our follow-up tools.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), which suggests addresses as you type a property address.
• OpenAI, whose advertising measurement pixel runs on some pages to tell us when visits come from our ads.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for anything of value. We have not sold personal information in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Do Not Track and choices

Our sites do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals in a special way. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and the forms work without any advertising cookies. To ask us to stop using your information for ad measurement, contact us using the details below.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to stop using it for marketing.
